This book could very well be the single best rescource available on becoming a dad. It does well to blend spiritual, emotional, and practical advice soon-to-be dads (and and their wives) need to keep in mind as they prepare to become fathers. It helps soon-to-be dads work through all the "what if.." questions and offers solid practical advice on money issues and how to take a temporary back seat when the baby is born, how to blend spirituality and fatherhood, dealing all kinds of different emotions and the like. It is all there, and if it is not, then what is there can easily be applied to any given situation.

| This book was not what I was expecting, but was more relevant than I ever would have thought! There are so many specifics in the book that I loved, but I'd be writing all day. Suffice it to say that Becoming A Dad really confronts the biggest fears of new and upcoming dads such as myself. I finished the book with many of my fears at ease. The book is brutally honest for the up and downs of fatherhood, and gives great practical advice for dealing with both. | This book is written in a very approachable style by two guys who are not afraid to share their shortcomings along with their successes, allowing the rest of us to learn from their stories. In turn, we realize that our own shortcomings can be overcome and turned into positives. I want to reread it at least a couple more times before March and will give it to others who are in my same position!
