I normally review homeschool materials and I got this book thinking it went along with Master Books homeschool materials, but it's better suited for a group learning setting rather than an individual parent with a particular preschooler. With that said, the quality is equal to other Master Books materials and I would highly recommend the curriculum in Sunday school or Christian school settings. It would also be terrific as a co-op curriculum!
The book explores various "earth" topics for early elementary age children (although the target group is preschool). Topics include people, animals, land, water, plants, etc.
There are circle time songs, memory verses, and letters to the parent for the instructor to copy and send home with students.
One unique aspect of the book is the design of "learning centers." The curriculum takes a comprehensive approach and incorporates art, music, science, physical activity, etc. The authors explain to teachers how to set up a learning center in quick, easy terms with simple, easily-obtained supplies. Students are to visit learning centers based on each subject as they study each lesson. There are also questions included for the teacher to ask as students visit each learning center.

| This is wonderful curriculum to use with elementary age kids. It works well in a Sunday School setting as well as VBS. Personally, I used it with a homeschool group and was very pleased. It incorporates Bible with science, art, and physical education, so it worked for us. The lessons were easy to follow and to explain to the kids and were very interesting.
