Our Faux Boix ceramics are a version of a technique that's as old as pre-ancient Egypt. In those days, Faux Bois largely ment the painting of stoen walls and columns to simulate wood. Today, it also refers to pottery that is either crafted to look like limbs and branches or decorated with twig like trim. Our ceramics are an excellent example. Just as twigs and branches are never alike, neither are our hand-glazed ceramics. Pieces will differ slightly--even in color--adding to their cahrm. All are durable stoneware and are dishwasher and microwave saft. They also may be used in a standard oven at or below 250 degrees.
