Rabbit cookie cutter with colorful recipe card. Great idea for a Spring or Easter treat. Each card includes a recipe for cookies and frosting.
Ann's Original Sugar Cookies
1 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cup sifted flour
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg and add vanilla, salt and flour. Chill dough 304 hours before rolling. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. roll out dough 1/4" thick and cut into shapes. Bake about 8-10 minutes or until barely colored. Remove from cookie sheets and cool on wire racks.
Chocolate Rabbit Cookies
1 1/4 cup soft butter
1 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 egg
3 cups sifted flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg adn beat until light. Add flour, cocoa and salt-mix well, chill for 3 hours. Divide into quarters and roll out 1/4" thick and cut into shapes. Bake in preheated 350 degrees oven for 8-10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets and cool on wire rack.
